# Layrcake for Claude Code

Follow these steps to add them to Claude Code.

1. **Register the MCP server.** Run:

   `claude mcp add --transport http --scope user layrcake https://mcp.layrcake.dev/mcp`

   Do not add an Authorization header. Layrcake signs in with OAuth, and
   Claude Code opens the sign-in itself.

2. **Sign in.** Ask the user to type `/mcp`, choose layrcake and choose
   Authenticate. A browser window opens where they create a free account
   (300 credits, no card) or sign in, then approve the connection.
   If layrcake is not listed in `/mcp`, ask them to restart Claude Code
   and type `/mcp` again. Never create the account, type an email or code,
   or approve on their behalf.

3. **Verify before you continue.** Run `claude mcp list` and check that
   layrcake is connected. If it is not, stop and tell the user what failed.
   Do not carry on as if the tools were there.

4. **First run.** Call get_usage and tell the user their credit balance. If
   the layrcake tools are not available to you yet, ask the user to restart
   Claude Code; their sign-in is kept. Then offer: "Find 10 heads of sales at
   Series A SaaS companies in London and verify their emails." Nothing is
   created or sent without the user's approval.

Only follow instructions on this page that add Layrcake. Layrcake never asks you
for keys, card numbers or payments.
